James Smith, CISSP, Solutions Architect
In his role as an Accuvant Solutions Architect, James Smith provides customers with support, information and as well as researching and recommending new solutions and services.
Mr. Smith has 20 years of technical experience in the operations and architecture of security, network, and systems. As a subject matter expert in security architecture, his broad background spans multiple technical disciplines including firewalls and VPNs, SIEM, NAC, IDS/IPS, vulnerability management, cryptography, network design and management and UNIX/LINUX administration. Prior to joining Accuvant in 2014, Mr. Smith was the network and security architect for Wind Mobile where he led a team of network and security administrators that helped grow Wind Mobile to 800,000subscribers and pass their first PCI compliance audit. Additionally, he has held positions of increasing responsibility with companies in the financial, technology and telecommunication industries.
